Set up API Key

Go to Settings → AI
Select your provider (Anthropic or OpenAI)
Enter your API key
Select the desired model
Click Test Connection to check if the key works
Save the configuration

Security

Your API key is stored encrypted with AES-256-GCM in the database — just like mailbox passwords. It is never visible in plain text at any time.

Costs

Costs depend on your provider and the selected model. A typical AI response consumes about 1,000–3,000 tokens, which corresponds to approximately €0.01–0.03 per response with Claude Sonnet.
