Managing Multiple Mailboxes

One Helpdesk, Multiple Email Addresses

MailDesk supports multiple mailboxes per organization. Typical setups:

  • support@firma.de — General customer support
  • billing@firma.de — Billing inquiries
  • sales@firma.de — Sales inquiries

Assign Mailbox to a Team

Each mailbox can be assigned to a team. Tickets from billing@firma.de then automatically go to the billing team, and only members of that team see these tickets under "Mine".

Deactivate Mailbox

If you want to temporarily stop using a mailbox, you can deactivate it under Settings → Mailboxes. MailDesk will stop fetching emails but will keep all existing tickets.

Observe Limits

The number of mailboxes depends on your plan. The Starter plan includes 1 mailbox, the Business plan offers unlimited mailboxes. You can see your current limit under Settings → Billing.
