Who is allowed to do what?
MailDesk has three roles with different permissions:
Owner
Full control over the organization
Can delete the organization
Can change the plan and manage billing details
Can manage other Owners, Admins, and Members
Can manage AI configuration and API keys
There is always exactly one Owner
Admin
Can set up and edit mailboxes
Can manage the knowledge base (categories, articles)
Can invite and remove members
Can create and manage teams
Can edit, assign, archive, and delete tickets
Member
Can edit and respond to tickets
Can assign and take over tickets
Can write internal notes
Can use the AI assistant
Cannot
change settings or manage members
